WARRANTY
What manufacturer warranties typically cover
Terms vary, but across major brands they usually look like this:
| Component | Typical coverage |
|---|---|
| Structural frame | Several years to a limited lifetime |
| Drive train (motor, transaxle, brake) | 1 to 3 years |
| Electronics (controller, charger) | 1 to 3 years |
| Batteries | Often 6 to 12 months, and covered by the battery manufacturer. Some lithium batteries have longer coverage. |
[ADD: a table for the brands you sell, with exact terms from each manufacturer’s warranty document.]
What’s usually not covered
- Normal wear items such as tires, brake pads, upholstery, plastic trim and bulbs
- Damage from misuse, overloading, accidents, neglect or improper charging and storage
- Repairs or modifications made without the manufacturer’s approval
- Commercial or rental use
- Labor and in-home service costs, unless the warranty states otherwise
When coverage starts
Warranty periods usually begin on the date of purchase or delivery. Keep your order confirmation and serial number.
How to make a claim
- Email sales@mobileelectricscooter.com or message us on WhatsApp at +1 425 830 8875.
- Send your order number, the scooter’s serial number, a description of the problem and clear photos or a short video.
- We’ll help you work with the manufacturer or an authorized service provider to diagnose the issue and arrange repair or replacement.
- Shipping, labor and service costs depend on the manufacturer’s terms. We’ll explain them before any work begins. [CONFIRM]
Battery care
Batteries last longer with good habits: charge after each ride, avoid running them completely flat, store the scooter somewhere moderate in temperature, and use only the supplied charger. Poor charging and storage can void battery coverage.
